Hey PA-TSA! I'm Will Reisner and I can't wait to serve as your State President this year. I'm a senior at Harriton High School and in my sixth and final year of TSA. My favorite event has gone back and forth but as of now, Chapter Team remains the best as my first event. If I'm not studying Robert's Rules or practicing for Drone Challenge, you might find me playing on my school's baseball or golf team, in our orchestra, or in Latin competitions. In my free time, I love skiing, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. This year in TSA, I plan to create more resources to make your TSA experience smoother. In the coming months, look out for a guidance form to assist chapters and individual members, as well as other materials designed to give you all the support you need. As your State President, I sincerely encourage all of you to get more involved in PA-TSA; join committees, run for chapter office, or connect with other members from across the state or even the country. Hey PA-TSA! I'm Boyi Chen, and I am thrilled to serve as your 2024-2025 State Vice President! I am currently a senior at Richland High School and this is my 4th year in TSA. As the new season begins, I can't wait to get back to competing in my favorite events: Webmaster and Biotechnology Design. Outside of TSA, you can catch me rockin' out in my school's rock orchestra, performing with the Johnstown Symphony Youth Orchestra, competing in Scholastic Quiz competitions, and playing video games with my friends. As your Vice President this year, I am excited to work with your regions through the Regional Representatives Committee. I aim to collaborate with members across the state to grow engagement at regional conferences, increase committee membership, and help members act as leaders in their respective regions. If you'd like to help make a difference at your regional conferences, I strongly encourage you to join the committee. It's a great way to get involved with TSA and to connect with members around the state! Hey everyone! My name is Harper House, and I am serving as your 2024-2025 Pennsylvania State Secretary. I'm a senior at State College Area High School, and this is my 7th year in TSA. Some of my favorite events throughout the years have been Biotechnology and Audio Podcasting. Outside of TSA, I am the captain of my school's Colorguard in the marching band, Vice-President of Fitness Club, and I'm in Master Singers, an audition choir at my school. In whatever free time I have left, you can find me keeping busy with hobbies like skiing, taking day-trips around Pennsylvania, and just spending time with my amazing friends and family. As Secretary, one of my main responsibilities is running the Outreach committee. This year, I want to focus on Alumni relations. This could include potential sponsorships, volunteering at conferences, and more. The Alumni have so much to offer! Outreach is going to be a blast this year, and I really encourage anyone interested to join! It's a wonderful way to make new friends and accomplish great things. Hi PATSA! My name is McKenna Smith, and I am your 2024-2025 Pennsylvania State Treasurer! I am currently a senior at Boyertown Area Senior High School, and this is my 7th year in TSA. My favorite events are Architectural Design and CAD Architecture- if you couldn't guess, I'm a bit of an architecture nerd. Outside of TSA, I coach field hockey and lacrosse for elementary schoolers in my district. I also love being creative, as I enjoy making jewelry, drawing, and making models. This year in the National Service Project Committee, I plan on working with members to promote the Cross-Chapter Fundraising Initiative. Many chapters are very small and struggle to fundraise with only a few members. This year's goal is to pre-plan fundraisers for smaller chapters, as well as fundraisers for more than one chapter to collaborate on. If these plans sound interesting to you, or if you have any other fundraising ideas, please apply to be a part of the National Service Project committee this year! Hi PA-TSA it's Ava Carmichael here! I'm thrilled to be serving as your state reporter this year. I'm currently a senior at Boyertown Area Senior High and can't wait for a memorable last year as a high schooler. Alongside my school work I have been an active member in TSA for the past 6 years (which is too long if you ask any of my advisors) My favorite event thus far has to be fashion design but I'm always up for a challenge in animatronics. Outside of TSA you can find me at the gym, playing soccer, and helping to run my local arboretum and youth grow farm. I'd love to learn more about you all in the Communication and Promotions Committee. Any member with an interest in graphic design, video making, or simply with a desire to see the behind the scenes work of the Pennsylvania TSA Instagram page is encouraged to join. This year we will create special interest session posters, brainstorm new additions to the PA-TSA Instagram, and help me carry out exciting new initiatives! Hey PA TSA! My name is Narayani Sakthinathan and I am excited to serve as your 2024-2025 State Sergeant-At-Arms. I'm a junior at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and am in my 6th year of TSA. Though I love trying out new events, my favorite ones have to be Biotechnology and Extemporaneous Speech. When I'm not trying to pull all-nighters to get TSA projects done, I love playing my viola in the school orchestra and playing tennis. You might also find me in the HOSA and Science Olympiad classrooms or volunteering at my local hospital. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, meeting new people, and listening to classical music! As Sergeant-At-Arms, I chair the Inclusivity Committee. I can't wait to share some exciting new projects and hear what ideas you all have to promote inclusivity and diversity for PA TSA. If the topic of furthering an equitable and welcoming TSA environment interests you, I encourage you to join the inclusivity committee! I'm also looking forward to co-chairing the Conference Sessions and Activities Committee (CSAC) with your parliamentarian, Anvita, where we'll be working on designing some fun and exciting special interest sessions. Hey PA-TSA! My name is Haley Mosorjak, and I am delighted to serve as your 2024-2025 State Historian. I am a Senior at Westmont Hilltop High School and in my 6th year of TSA and second year on the state officer team. I am ecstatic to have a memorable year of TSA with all of you. Over my years of TSA I have competed in numerous middle and high school events. My favorite event is Future Technology Engineering Teacher. When I am not working on TSA projects you can find me at my dance studio, out on the golf course, making various videos and graphics for my school, camp counseling in the summer, competing in the informative category for my school's speech team, and participating in a number of other school clubs! When I have free time you will probably see me out and about with my friends and family! As your Historian, I will Co-Chair the Communications and Promotions Committee (CAPC) with our state Reporter Ava! I highly recommend that you join this committee as not only will you learn about videography and graphic design , but you will also have fun while doing it! I can not wait to meet all of you at the state conference this year! Hey there PA-TSA! My name is Anvita Kallam, and I am honored to be serving as your 2024-2025 State Parliamentarian. I am a senior at Downingtown STEM and this will be my fifth year of TSA. Some of my favorite events have been Data Science & Analytics and Chapter Team. Outside of TSA, you can find me competing in congressional debate and leading my school's Speech & Debate team, programming games for a non-profit focused on climate activism, working at a local Fund, and complaining that my R-files won't knit. In my free time, I love kayaking & diving, going on runs near the llama farm, and driving around with my friends. As Parliamentarian, I co-chair the Conference Sessions and Activities Committee (CSAC) alongside your sergeant Narayani! I am excited to work with all of you to bring back both fan favorite and exciting new special interest sessions. If you want to be part of planning the various events at the state conference, I highly recommend you join CSAC! I am also looking forward to chairing the Bylaw and Resolution Review Committee (BARRC), where will be focusing on PA-TSA bylaw amendments in the beginning of the year and then later creating the parliamentary procedure special interest session at the state conference, as well as other parli-pro and chapter team materials.
