Student Officer Team

Hey PA-TSA! My name is Narayani Sakthinathan (pronounced "Nuh-raa-nee") and I'm honored to serve as your State President this year. I'm a senior at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and this will be my 7th and, unfortunately, final year of TSA. My favorite event would have to be prepared presentation, as I love public speaking! If I'm not cramming TSA work, you'll find me as Section Leader of my school orchestra's viola section, volunteering at my local hospital, or playing tennis. In my free time, I love hanging out with friends, watching movies with my sister, and traveling with family. I am beyond excited for you to see Team 48's contributions to PA-TSA as the SOT is already hard at work expanding cross-CTSO connections, growing our member resource network, filming exciting videos, and so much more! As someone who started as a shy 6th grader to now serving as your State President, I can't stress enough how impactful it is to expand your involvement in TSA. I highly encourage you to put yourself out there this year by connecting with members at conferences, joining our state committees, or even running for state office! If you have any questions or just want to say hi, email me at sot_president@patsa.org. Don't hesitate to reach out to the SOT if you need anything at all; we are always here to help! I'm looking forward to making amazing memories with our delegation this year and wish you the best of luck as you prepare for the upcoming TSA season!

Hey PA-TSA! I'm Pranav Behal (pronounced "Pruh-nah-vuh"), and I am so excited to serve as your 2025-2026 State Vice President! I'm a junior at Cumberland Valley High School, and this is my sixth year in TSA. My favorite events have been Webmaster in high school, and Off the Grid as a middle schooler. When I'm not obsessing over my TSA projects or working on initiatives for my chapter, you might find me at the gym, playing soccer, or coding apps. In my free time, I love to read, keep up with hip-hop music, and learn about entrepreneurship & marketing. I also can't wait to lead the Regional Representatives committee this year, where members will learn about various resources that their chapters can use, and have the opportunity to connect with other members across the state. In addition, we will be working to improve our respective regional conferences by brainstorming state-wide and region-specific initiatives to implement, like activities and Special Interest Sessions, and then actually making them happen! If you want to increase your involvement in TSA, learn about ways to improve your chapter, or help in the behind-the-scenes of your regional conference, you should definitely apply! You can always reach out to me at sot_vice_president@patsa.org with any questions or ideas you have, whether it be about Regional Representatives or anything else. I can't wait to work with you this year and meet you all at the State Conference!

Hey PA-TSA! My name is Natalie Branstetter (pronounced "Na-tuh-lee"), and I am thrilled to serve as your 2025-2026 State Secretary. I'm a junior at State College Area High School, and this is my sixth year in TSA. My favorite events have varied over the years, but Animatronics and Children's Stories have become two of my favorites. When I'm not coding microcontrollers or working on my next book, you can probably find me figure skating at the rink, out on a run, planning class activities as my school's Junior Senate Vice President, or growing sunflowers on my grandfather's farm! I love to travel, spend time with family, and spend time outdoors! As Secretary this year, my priority is to strengthen connections across Pennsylvania. In the Outreach Committee, we're aiming to build relationships with other CTSO organizations and businesses across the state. These connections can open doors for our members and strengthen our delegation as we grow into the next generation of STEM leaders. I can't wait to work with many of you on the Outreach Committee! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at sot_secretary@patsa.org with any questions, ideas, or just to say hi! I look forward to meeting you all this year and seeing what incredible things our delegation will accomplish!

Hi PA-TSA! My name is Melinda Wu (pronounced "Muh-lin-duh") and I'm delighted to serve as your 2025-2026 State Treasurer. I'm currently a senior at State College Area High School, and this is my sixth and final year of TSA. My absolute favorite events are Data Science & Analytics and Geospatial Technology! If I'm not losing my mind over datasets or problematic displays, you can catch me teaching elementary schoolers STEAM skills at my local Discovery Space, scrapbooking and journaling, practicing for my next flute recital, or researching cancer immunotherapies with my team in Cali (Shoutout to Anya!). I also love listening to music (Frank Ocean release a new album), playing badminton with my family and friends, and travelling to new places! I'm focusing on two goals this year: increasing conference accessibility through sponsorship and creating community project resources. Reducing the cost of participating in TSA ensures everyone has an equal opportunity to engage in our amazing STEAM-focused community. As your Treasurer, I believe this is crucial to empowering every student to explore STEAM without financial barriers. In the National Service Project Committee, we'll develop regional sponsorship contact lists, fundraising toolkits, community service projects, and more! Be sure to join NSP if these plans sound interesting to you, and don't hesitate to reach out to me at sot_treasurer@patsa.org with questions or ideas! I'm so excited to connect and grow with you all this year!

Hey PA-TSA! My name is Boushra Youssef (pronounced "Bush-ra"), and I'm honored to serve as your 2025-2026 State Reporter. I'm currently a junior at Cumberland Valley High School in Region 3. This is my fourth year in TSA, and I'm beyond excited to make it the best one yet. My favorite events are a toss-up between Engineering Design and Future Technology & Engineering Teacher; I love the creativity and problem-solving both involve. When TSA isn't taking over my schedule, you'll likely find me organizing service projects and planning meetings as my school's UNICEF President, spreading school spirit through Student Council, exploring new graphic design tools, or in the kitchen cooking and baking whatever I'm craving that day. As your Reporter, I'm excited to share engaging content with you across our Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, so be sure to follow along so you don't miss a thing. If you're into graphic design or want to learn new tools and techniques, I encourage you to join the Communications and Promotions Committee (CAPC), which I'll be co-chairing with our State Historian. I'd love to collaborate on creative projects, develop a graphic design toolkit for all of PA-TSA, and support any aspiring Regional or Chapter Reporters or anyone looking to grow their promotional skills. Feel free to reach out to me at sot_reporter@patsa.org with any questions, ideas, or just to connect. I'm looking forward to an amazing year with all of you!

Hey PA TSA! My name is Olivia Smith (Pronounced "Oh-liv-ee-uh") and I'm so excited to serve as your State Sergeant at Arms! I'm currently a sophomore at Downingtown East High School and I'm in my 4th of TSA. I always love trying new events, but I'd say my favorite is by far Transportation Modeling. As well as working on my own events, I'm currently being mentored by our middle school chapter advisor, learning how to lead younger members in the right direction. Outside of TSA, you would probably find me chilling at the gym, hanging out with my friends, or traveling to new places! I also volunteer at my local retirement home, and take part in many school clubs such as Best Buddies and Track. As Sergeant at Arms, I chair the Inclusivity Committee (IC) and co-chair the Conference Sessions and Activities Committee (CSAC) with our State Parliamentarian, Waneis. I can't wait to lead IC and see what ideas everyone has to promote inclusivity and diversity throughout PA TSA! If you like to build a TSA that's welcoming and derives talent from all people while becoming more responsive to the array of voices throughout TSA, we encourage you to apply! As for CSAC, I'm looking forward to designing some fun and exciting special interest sessions for everyone's interests. Be sure to join CSAC if you want to take part in planning and leading these events for the state conference! Feel free to contact me at sot_sergeant_at_arms@patsa.org with any questions, concerns, or to just say hi! I look forward to meeting you all throughout this year!

Hey PA-TSA! My name is Kenisha Verma (pronounced "Ken-ee-sha"), and I'm honored to serve as your 2025-2026 State Historian! I am a junior at Lower Merion High School in Region 5 and this is my sixth year in TSA. I've competed in many events throughout the years, but my favorite would have to be Biotechnology Design. Outside of TSA, you can find me playing the violin at various orchestra rehearsals, tutoring elementary school students in my district, and organizing school-wide events as part of Student Council. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, binge-watching TV shows, and hanging out with friends and family. As your State Historian, I'm so excited to create promotional videos for the Pennsylvania TSA Instagram, Youtube, and Facebook pages! Be sure to stay engaged with our social media to see behind-the-scenes content from the State Officer Team! I also co-chair the Communications and Promotions Committee (CAPC) alongside the State Reporter where we're creating a graphic design toolkit, expanding regional-level communication, and designing posters for special interest sessions at the state conference. If you are interested in graphic design and meeting TSA members from across the state, I highly encourage you to join! Feel free to reach out to me at sot_historian@patsa.org with any questions, ideas, or just to say hi. PA-TSA, I'm so excited to meet you all throughout the year, and I wish you the best of luck with the upcoming TSA season!

PA-TSA, I'm so excited to serve as your State Parliamentarian! My name is Waneis (Pronounced "Wah-nees") Elshaari, I am a junior at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in Region 5, and this is my fifth year in TSA. I love all the events I compete in, but Video Game Design holds a special place in my heart (it's a love-hate relationship). When I'm not building displays, you can find me on the wrestling mat, working on my MIST (Muslim Inter Scholastic Tournament) events, or cooking; there's nothing better than a plate of homemade pasta! In my free time, I love to go to the gym, put together cool outfits, and go on side quests with my friends. I love to make things and build just about anything, so I take any chance I get to start a new personal project! I hope many of you join BARRC this year, as we have big plans to get done! Along with the creation of a new bylaw amendment proposal, BARRC will have 3 subcommittees: Proposals 101, Simple Bylaws, and AP Chapter Team. Proposals 101 will help to teach members about bylaw proposals. Simple Bylaws will create simplified versions of all PA-TSA student bylaws. AP Chapter Team will create Chapter Team study resources for all PA-TSA members to use! If you have any questions, or you just want to say hi, you can reach me at sot_parliamentarian@patsa.org! I can't wait to meet all of you at the 2025-2026 PA-TSA state conference, and don't procrastinate on your events!
