Rickards Award
The Donald Rickard Memorial Volunteer Award is to recognize an individual, other than an advisor, who has dedicated his/her time and talents and tireless efforts to make their local TSA chapter the best organization possible. In order to be considered for this award, the individual should have been an active chapter supporter/volunteer for three or more years. The individual has supported the local chapter in at least four of the following areas:
- Helped facilitate local chapter meetings
- Assisted students in preparing for events
- Acted as a chaperone for state or national conferences
- Organize fund raising activities
- Acted as a judge at regional, state, or national conferences
- Served as a positive role model for students
- Served as a positive ambassador for TSA in the community
- Other
