President's Message: September 2018

Welcome back, PA-TSA! I hope you’ve all had a great summer, and are looking forward to a fantastic school year. Of course, I hope you’re all looking forward to a new season of TSA, and I can guarantee that the State Officer Team is working hard to make this the best year of TSA yet.

This year, the State Officer Team will be working to switch the PA-Post over to a blog format. We will also be working on introducing materials that will help you gain sponsorships for your chapter, as well as fundraising tips. We are proud to announce two new committees, the Regional Representatives Committee and the Website Initiatives Committee. The Regional Representatives will be working within individual regions to implement activities and initiatives, and the Website Initiatives Committee will be working on suggestions and ideas geared towards PATSA.org.

In addition, I encourage you all to become involved with a committee. This year, PA-TSA offers 6 committees: Communications and Promotions, Conference Sessions and Activities, Corporate Outreach, National Service Project, Regional Representatives, and Website Initiatives. Each of these committees have big plans for the year, and I hope you’ll get involved as they work to strengthen PA-TSA. If you’re interested in joining a committee, go to the “For Students” tab, and select the “Committees” tab. This year, applications are due November 1st, or October 1st for those interested in becoming vice-chairs.

To stay connected with PA-TSA and the officer team throughout the year, make sure to follow
