Student Officer Team

Charlize

Hey PA-TSA! I'm so happy to be returning as a state officer and serving as your 2023-2024 state president. I'm a senior at Bishop McCort Catholic High School, and this is sadly my sixth and final year in TSA. While I still cannot pick a favorite event, I can't wait to begin filming and editing for Digital Video Production and illustrating and binding for Children's Stories. When I'm not writing documentation portfolios, I'm taking numerous dance classes and working as a junior teacher to teach younger kids at my dance studio. I also love being a part of my school's National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and French Honor Society chapters. I also compete in duo interpretation in Speech and Debate, serve as a captain for interscholastic reading competition and Mini-THON, and play violin in my school's orchestra. I love hanging out with my friends and family, but don't be surprised if you see an Instagram post of me in a distant location because I love to travel! As your state president this year, I'm so excited to lead seven other fantastic individuals to make PA-TSA better. I encourage everyone to expand their involvement within this amazing organization by talking with members throughout the state, serving on a committee, or even running for a state officer position! If you have any questions or just want to say hi, email me at president@patsa.org. I'm looking forward to making some amazing memories with the members of PA-TSA throughout this year!

Margo

Hey PATSA, my name is Margo Wyckoff and I am ecstatic to be serving as your 2023-2024 State Vice President. Currently, I am a junior at State College Area High School in my 6th year of TSA. I can't wait to get back into my favorite competitive events, Promotional Design and Fashion Design & Technology. Outside of TSA, I spend most of my time playing for my school's field hockey team, working part-time at a local clothing business, or competing with my classmates in a variety of school clubs. In my free time, you can find me crocheting, skiing, listening to music, or hanging out with my friends. I can't wait to continue working with dedicated committee members by chairing the Regional Representatives Committee this year. I aim to work with members in order to plan engaging and organized activities at conferences across the state, while also helping members act as leaders in their respective regions. I encourage you to join Regional Reps if you're looking for an in depth way to get involved with TSA or if you're just interested in connecting with members around the state. Feel free to reach out to me at vice_president@patsa.org if you have any questions, concerns, or need anything at all. I'm excited for what the new year will bring and I cannot wait to see all of you at our 46th State Conference.

Will

Hey PA-TSA! I'm William Reisner, and I can't wait to serve as your 2023-2024 State Secretary. I'm currently a junior at Harriton High School in my 5th year of TSA. I'm so excited to return to competitive events like my new favorite, Drone Challenge, as well as other great ones like Chapter Team and Tech Bowl. If I'm not 3D printing new parts for my team's drone, you might find me playing on my school's baseball team, in our orchestra, or competing in our Latin competition club, Certamen. In my free time, I also love to ski, play golf, and hang out with my friends. In TSA, I'm looking forward to working with members of the Outreach Committee as we strive to improve PA-TSA connections with other groups and individuals. This year, with my committee members, I'll be reaching out to other organizations and students from across Pennsylvania to form relationships that positively impact everyone involved. If any of this sounds interesting to you, or you're just looking for a way to get more involved in PA-TSA, I really encourage you to join. Feel free to email me at secretary@patsa.org with any questions about the Outreach Committee, or anything else you want to talk about. I'd love to hear from you. I'm so excited to see everything our organization accomplishes this year, and good luck with your events!

Hey PA-TSA! I'm Boyi Chen, and I am exhilarated to serve as your 2023-2024 State Treasurer! I am currently a junior at Richland High School and this is my 3rd year in TSA. Outside of TSA, you can catch me rockin' out in my school's rock orchestra, performing with the Johnstown Symphony Youth Orchestra, competing in Scholastic Quiz competitions, and playing videogames with my friends. As your Treasurer, I am excited to work with committee members as the chair of the National Service Project committee to raise more money for the American Cancer Society. Additionally, I plan to help you and your chapter with all of your fundraising needs. If any of this sounds interesting to you and you want to help make it a reality, I heavily encourage you to reach out to me at treasurer@patsa.org to join the committee!
