Abigail Reigner

president [at] patsa.org

Hey TSA! I am proud to have been elected as your 2018-2019 State President, and I’m excited to serve you for another great year. I am a senior at Boyertown Area Senior High, and this is my final year in TSA. I am beyond grateful to have been a part of TSA for the past six years, and cannot believe how far PA-TSA has come in such little time. This year, I’m looking forward to competing in PA-Materials Processes and SciVis, as well as planning fresh and exciting initiatives for the state conference. Outside of TSA, I serve as my school’s senior school board representative, I’m a member of student council, NHS, and AISES, and I participate in orchestra and jazz band. Most of all, I love to spend time with my chapter—whether we’re celebrating at Chili’s, fundraising for the ACS, or making sno-cones—we’re always making each other laugh. This year, myself and the rest of the state officers will be focusing on enhancing your conference experiences, and making sure that this is the best year of TSA yet. You can contact me at president [at] patsa.org, so feel free to send any questions, suggestions, or ideas. I can’t wait to see you all at states this year!

Hello PA-TSA! My name is Lyndsey Nedrow and I am beyond excited to be serving as your next State Vice President. I am entering my senior year at Conestoga Valley High School. When I’m not running around doing TSA stuff I enjoy poetry, long walks on the beach, and doing Boy Scout things. My favorite TSA competitions are Chapter Team (of course), Prepared Presentation and On Demand Video. This year I will be co-chairing the newly formed Regional Representatives Committee. This committee will improve the communication from the state officers to you through meetings with representatives from all Regions. It will also create more opportunities for you to share your thoughts with us and for Regions to exchange their ideas to each other as well with all PA-TSA. I cannot wait to see you all at the State Conference; make sure you stop by and say hi!

Hey PA-TSA! My name is Jonah Proepper and I’m honored to be serving as your 2018-2019 State Treasurer. I am currently a Junior at South Western High School and this is my fifth year in TSA. In the upcoming year, I’m excited to begin preparing for Debating Technological Issues, studying for Chapter Team, and expanding our ACS fundraising. When I’m not working on TSA, I’m always involved in an abundance of school activities. In the small amount of free time I have, I enjoy spending time with my family and making memories with my closest friends. On the National Service Project Committee, I’ll be hard at work creating ACS fundraising incentives for States, as well as adding new and exciting Special Interest Sessions to Regionals. Sam Catania

reporter [at] patsa.org

Hi PA-TSA! I’m Sam Catania, and I am proud to be your 2018-2019 State Reporter. I am a junior at Harriton, and this is my 6th year in TSA. This year, I’m excited to compete in my favorite events, Webmaster and Chapter Team, as well as all of TSA’s video events; Digital Video, On Demand (if I can find time at states), and SciVis. Outside of TSA, I’m a news enthusiast and am passionately involved with my school’s television station ‘Harriton TV’ where I am Co-President. I’m also very involved in Student Council where I chair the technology committee. In my little free time, I love being outdoors running, biking, swimming, and skiing especially with Boy Scouts. This year is going to be HUGE for PA-TSA. We’ve begun moving forward with overhauling the website (yes, actually!!) and we’re replacing the PA Post with a multimedia-oriented State Officer Blog. I want to encourage anyone interested to join either of my committees, the ‘Communications and Promotions Committee’ and the new ‘Website Initiatives Special Committee’! Joining committees is the best way to get involved and help advance PA-TSA! Please, at any time this year, contact me at reporter [at] patsa.org. Feel free to send questions, suggestions, or ideas! I’m looking forward to the best states yet just as much as you guys, and I can’t wait to see everyone there!

Hello PA-TSA! I’m Joshua Famous, and I’m ecstatic to be working as your 2018-2019 State Sergeant-At-Arms. This is my sixth and unfortunately final year of TSA as a senior at Boyertown Area Senior High School. Outside of TSA, I occupy my time with concert, jazz, and marching band, cross country, Boy Scouts, math team, and working as a developer for a startup company. In the coming year, I will be working hard to co-chair the Conference Sessions and Activities Committee, coming up with innovative ideas for revolutionary new special interest sessions that run throughout the duration of the conference - allowing members to join in at any time, and helping to reduce scheduling conflicts. For any comments, questions, or concerns, feel free to send me an email at sergeant_at_arms [at] patsa.org. I couldn’t be more excited to see everyone at this year’s State Conference!

Dhruv Agarwal

historian [at] patsa.org

Hey PA-TSA! My name is Dhruv Agarwal and I am so excited to be serving as your 2018-2019 State Historian. I am a sophomore at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and this will be my 4th year in TSA. The committee will be redeveloped into 3 main categories this year, graphic design, social media, and promotional content. Simultaneously, I am hard at work trying to bring innovations to the state conference creating plans on new ways to do so. If you have any questions or suggestion, feel free to email me at historian [at] patsa.org! I cannot wait to see everyone at the 41st state conference, I know you will have a blast!

Emily Wright

parliamentarian [at] patsa.org

Hey PA-TSA! My name is Emily Wright, and I’m super excited to be serving as your State Parliamentarian this year. I’m currently a junior at Harriton High School, and this is my 6th year in TSA. I also love to spend time practicing the viola and the guitar. As our 41st state conference approaches, I’m excited to be working as a co-chair of the Conference Sessions and Activities Committee (which I encourage you to join), in which I’ll be working to engage our membership in special interest sessions at the state and regional levels. I’ll also be working to bring members from a broader number of regions into PA-TSA’s committees, in addition to implementing some of our committee initiatives further into the regional conferences. If you have any questions, suggestions, or ideas, feel free to contact me at parliamentarian [at] patsa.org. See you in April!

Francis Chalissery
Past President

fr.chalissery [at] gmail.com

What’s up PA-TSA! My name is Francis Chalissery and I could not be more excited to be serving as your State Past President this year. Although the PA State Officer Team does not typically have a State Past President, I am ready go above and beyond in my efforts to make this organization as great as it can possibly be. This year, I plan to work with State Reporter Sam Catania on redesigning our state website and State Historian Dhruv Agarwal in radically revamping PA-TSA’s digital presence. As a State Officer, I ardently believe that it is our inherent responsibility to perpetually innovate this organization. Having served as a State Officer for the past two years, I can confidently say the State Officer Team will make it most powerful impact through initiating change on an online medium. Heading into the new TSA year, I am electrified to participate in some of my favorite competitions such as Chapter Team, Promotional Design, and Webmaster. Outside of TSA, I am involved in FBLA, Physics Olympics, and swimming. When not doing TSA or schoolwork, I find enjoyment in traveling, studying the physics of nature, and watching the NBA and NFL. PA-TSA, this year will be my seventh and final year in TSA, and I am ready to make it my most impactful one yet. If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to contact me at fr.chalissery [at] gmail.com.
