President's Message: June 2018

Hello, PATSA! As the school year comes to a close, I hope that you have been enjoying time after States. I am proud to say that this year’s State Conference has been one of the best that we have ever held. Asides from the Board of Directors and the State Officer Team, the credit goes to you: the members of PATSA. From passionately completing your events to participating in the Opening Ceremony Kahoot, all of you have contributed to a fantastic year.

With June moving forward, the National Conference draws nearer every day! This year’s National Conference will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, and it is expected to be one of the largest and most excited conferences yet. Held in the Georgia World Congress Center, the National Conference will feature a variety of new opportunities and events, such as industry-leading keynote speakers and networking opportunities.

Every year, we are one of the top performing states in the country at the National Conference. Last year, we earned the second-most top tens as a states—this year, I think we can do even better. With enough drive and dedication, any level of success is possible in TSA. I affirm that we, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, are developed within one of the strongest STEM educations in the United States and I believe that we have no limits. I have seen what this state is capable of, and I know that we will exceed everyone’s expectations (including our own) at the National Conference.

As always, to stay updated with PA-TSA’s various functions and opportunities, be sure to subscribe to PATSA’s email list and follow our social media accounts:

PATSA, this will be the last President’s Message that I write for you. I would like to take this moment to thank you for the support that you have provided me and my State Officer Team in our journey to success. Looking to the future, I am ecstatic to see the even greater heights that your 2018-19 State Officer Team can accomplish next year.

Signing off for the last time,

Francis Chalissery

Your 2017-18 PATSA State President
