New Procedures for TSA National Conference 2016

Please take note of the following regarding the upcoming 2016 national TSA conference in Nashville, Tennessee and share the first two with your chapter advisors:

1. Competitive event changes are not permitted after contest registration closes on Friday, June 3rd. Be sure to check your conference registration carefully for accuracy – both prior to submitting registration and when you receive your confirmation invoice. If you have to make a change for some unexpected reason after June 3rd, a $50 change fee will be charged per person per event. Only chapter members previously registered as competitors by June 3rd will be eligible for change requests and subsequently charged the $50 per person per event change fee. TSA reserves the right whether or not to make a requested change. Accrued fees must be paid by credit card, check, or cash prior to the change being made. No exceptions will be made to this new policy recently approved by the TSA, Inc. Board of Directors beginning with the 2016 national TSA conference.

2. To streamline the voting process, voting delegates must be designated at the time of conference registration. As part of conference registration, chapter advisors select two voting delegates from chapter members attending the conference. Chapter advisors may not “swap out” voting delegates after conference registration has been submitted or on site at the conference. Chapter advisors will receive two “Voting Delegate” ribbons in their onsite registration packet and should give them to their voting delegates just prior to the July 1st Business Meeting. These ribbons are not replaceable. If lost, the chapter loses the vote for that delegate. Replacement ribbons will not be available at the information desk.
