National Conference Summary

Another year comes to a close for PA-TSA with another stellar performance at the 34th Annual National TSA Conference, with the election of one of our own as National President and outstanding generosity to the American Cancer Society.

Pennsylvania TSA had another stellar year, placing in 62% of all middle school events and 65% of all high school events, accounting for 10% and 14% of all trophies, respectively.  Complete list of results can be found here.

In addition, Harriton’s Dhruv Pillai was elected as the National TSA President for 2012-2013 school year.  Dhruv defeated current National Secretary Ashlee Shryock (Oklahoma) for the office of president.  Great job Dhruv!  While Ben Hewitt and Sabrina Sayoc (also of Harriton) did not reach the National Officer Team, we are very proud of them on the wonderful campaigns they ran.

Finally, between our chapters and state, Pennsylvania was responsible for contributing thousands of dollars to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life program.  In these tough economic times, you all have show how important it is to help those battling cancer.

Pennsylvania TSA, how do you feel?  Let me tell you, you should feel GREAT!  Congratulations to all participants on another great year.
