Advisor update - 4/17/2023

• PRIZES DURING BUSINESS MEETING – As a way to encourage attendance at Friday night’s business meeting, several prizes will be awarded at random to attendees. Prizes include but are not limited to: five (5) free registrations for the 2024 PA-TSA State Conference, Sheetz gift cards, TSA swag. At least one chapter advisor must be present with students in order for the chapter to be eligible for any prizes.
• TROPHIES AND FINALIST PINS – As a reminder, new for 2023, trophies and finalist pins will ONLY be available during the Awards Ceremony on Saturday morning. NO trophies or pins will be mailed after the conference. If a chapter is not in attendance, it is the responsibility of the chapter to collect any awards the chapter may receive. The state conference planning team will NOT facilitate this process.
• PROJECT PICK-UP IN WINTERBERRY – Display project pickup is scheduled for 5:30-7PM on Friday. Projects will be released once conference staff confirm the number on the project matches the ID# on the tag of the person retrieving the project. This is immediately after open viewing of entries. For security reasons, entries cannot leave Winterberry during open viewing. If a chapter cannot pick up their projects at this time, they must check in ahead of time with conference staff to determine if an alternative pickup will be possible. Any projects left behind after 7PM will be disposed of by the conference planning team and Seven Springs.
• OVERFLOW SEATING @ MEALS – In order to make sure everyone is able to eat during the busiest breakfast times, multiple locations will be utilized. If you find a long line in one place, please visit one of the other options listed below.
  • Thursday breakfast: Slopeside, Timbers, Bavarian, Matterhorn and Alpine
  • Friday breakfast: Slopeside, Timbers, Bavarian, and Exhibit Hall
  • Saturday breakfast: Slopeside, Timbers, Bavarian, Matterhorn and Alpine
