Act 48

Through a partnership with the Technology & Engineering Education Association of Pennsylvania (TEEAP), Pennsylvania TSA is able to offer Pennsylvania ACT 48 hours for certain qualified activities for teachers. Board of Director meetings serve as curriculum development for advisors who attend the meetings. Additional meetings and activities throughout the year may qualify for ACT 48 credit. For any meeting or activity that qualifies for ACT 48, the person coordinating the meeting will have the appropriate forms for you to complete in order to receive credit hours.

Remember to bring your Professional Personal ID (PPID) prior to attending the meeting. Pennsylvania no longer uses social security numbers for Act 48 purposes. You can obtain information regarding your PPID (including the ACT 48 credit numbers) at the PDE web site, https://www.perms.ed.state.pa.us/Screens/wfPublicAccess.aspx.
