We worked closely with our web hosting provider. The total outage was about 30 minutes, with periods of slow response times leading up to it. We narrowed down the script on the server which we believe was causing the problem and by 6pm Friday evening, things seemed to be running smoothly again. This year I handled an usually high amount of requests for lost passwords. Many of those requests came within the last 48 hours of iServices closing. In addition, the automatic password recovery system was also flooded with requests for lost passwords in that last 48 hours. I ask this, please make sure you log into iServices early in the school year. When you are activated at the beginning of the year, iServices sends out your username and password as a reminder. Please log in at that time and make sure you can access iServices. In addition, please enter in the advisors for your chapter. Any adivosr who is in the system for your chapter, can retrieve a lost password. We have many chapters with no advisors entered. We keep working to make iServices meet your needs.
