iServices is officially open for the 2008 State Conference season.  CLICK HERE to get started with registration.  Information regarding the state conference can be found by CLICKING HERE (including event information, worksheets, and student information).

Please remember these tips as you are registering your students.

  1. THERE ARE NO ADDS ON SITE.  This includes adding a student for the conference and adding participants to an event.  Conference materials would not available for these students.  Use the Print Friendly report from iServices, post t in your classroom and have students help you verify you entered them in all the events they are in.
  2. ALL students (including those only in team events), advisors and guests should be registered for the conference in iServices.  This ensures everyone gets a name badge with ID number.  All students need to provide this ID number at event check-in.
  3. Student names should be entered in EXACTLY as they appeared at your regional conference.
  4. Please enter one email address and a preferred phone number that we may use to contact you at if there is a problem with your registration.  We are also asking for an “on-site” advisor's cell phone number in the event a problem arises at the conference.
  5. If an event is a QUALIFYING event, ALL participants/teams must have qualified at the regional conference for this event.  Teams may substitute team members for an event, but students MAY NOT be substituted for individual events.
  6. If the event has a max number (ie: 2), you may only exceed the max permitted IF ALL participants/teams qualified at the regional conference for this event.
  7. Region 5 and 9, please follow the directions for event maximums by clicking here, you are NOT permitted to exceed ANY max number for the events.
iServices now offers the following features to alert you to possible errors in your registration:
  1. For individual events, if you exceed the max for an event and they did not qualify at regionals OR if you enter students in qualifying event who did not qualify at regionals, a DNQ will appear beside the event you registered a student for.
  2. For team events, if you exceed the max for an event and not all teams qualified at regionals OR if you enter a team in a qualifying event who did not qualify at regionals, a EXC (exceeded) will appear beside the event you registered a team for.
  3. For events like F1, PreReg will appear beside the event the participant is registered for.  You need to register this event with F1, although we help them track this information
  4. If you see an error, contact your regional conference chair first for resolution.  They will contact the state conference chair to 'fix' the issue.  Regions 5 & 9: for qualifying events, follow the link above, we will process and override the errors according to the guidelines Chris Roth has outlined.
  5. When the conference registrar verifies a participant/team is eligible, the error code will be replaced by OVR for Override.  Entries will be deleted if registration is not verified/approved.  Additionally, you will be notified in either case via email.
In addition to these above features, we have improved optional reporting features.
  1. You can now Mass Change all your participants Genders and Grades.  Although it is not required that you enter a participants gender or grade, it is helpful data.  All data is confidential.
  2. You can also select shirt sizes for your chapter.  Shirts are still on a first come, first serve basis, but this will assist with anticipating size demand.  There are no guarantees on shirt orders.  We will do our best to accomodate.
As a reminder, there are training videos at the iServices web site.  You must have QuickTime installed on your computer to view them.
