Regional Conference Registration to Commence
By Chris Miller
Jan 3, 2008 - 6:58:43 AM
On-line registration will be available for each region starting January 16. Each Regional Conference Coordinator will determine the exact open and close for registration in iServices.
iServices will function exactly the same as the 2007 version. Training videos, handouts and chapter log-in is located at http://patsa-iservices.org/ If your region uses a “Registration Worksheet”, please list your participants on that worksheet first, than transfer them to iServices. Some reminders:
- Your PA-TSA Username and Password is DIFFERENT from national's. Our is now a four digit number username. If you are a MS chapter, the first number is "1" and all HS chapters start with the number "2".
- ALL participants must be registered for your conference, even if they are not in individual events. This will give them an ID number which they must use for both individual and team registration.
- You cannot exceed the maximum number of participants for an event. The system will now check to make sue this max number is not being exceeded. If you try to register more than the allotted number for your chapter, you will not be able to until you delete out a participant.
- Please use proper spelling (case sensitive) of the names of the participants. What you type will appear on their ID tags.
- When registration closes, REGISTRATION CLOSES! Most regions do not permit on-site registration.
Since Participant ID numbers are available to you once you register a student, most regions are asking that you TYPE the ID number for the event on your project/entry. Again, check with your regional coordinator regarding this procedure, each region may vary.
Please contact me if you have any problems accessing the system. I do ask that you read the user manuals and/or watch the videos located at http://patsa-iservices.org/ They are comprehensive and do cover the entire system. iServices will be registering over 3000 students in 64 different events for eight different regions. You can find information regarding your region at http://patsa.org/regionals/.
