LOST YOUR PASSWORD? iServices now has a password recovery system. Follow the directions at http://patsa-iservices.org/ to recover your password. GET HELP! iServices has a comprehensive video library on how to operate the system. In addition, there is a written manual on how to use iServices. Both can be found at http://patsa-iservices.org/help/ REGISTERING ADVISORS - For the primary advisor, please include an email address, home phone number and on-site (cell) phone number in the event of emergency. The email address and home phone are needed in case there are problems with your registration. The on-site number will only be used in the event of an emergency or a problem with one of your entries while on site. None of this contact information will be retained after the conference. Please try to list only one chapter per advisor if possible. We do understand that some chapters share an advisor and in this is the case, please click "Yes" to the question "Advisor Registered with another chapter?". After iServices is closed, reports will be run to adjust conference fees for shared advisors. Also, feel free to enter your PPID for Act 48. Each night at the conference, you will be asked to sign-in on the sheet to get Act 48 credit. SPELLING COUNTS! Please enter your participant's name with the exact spelling as was used at the regional conference. This is important for qualifiers, as the system will use spelling as a check to see if a participant qualified. Also, please use proper capitalization when entering participants. REGION 1/6 HIGH SCHOOLS - For HS participants from Region 1 & 6, iServices will not display a "Q" for a standard qualifying event. Instead, it will display a max number that can participate for that event. REGIONAL QUALIFIERS - Now included in iServices is a list of results from all regions. Click on the "VIEW: Regional Results" This is a list of results as reported by your region. These results have been "trimmed" as to show only the maximum number of qualifiers per region. QUALIFYING EVENTS - There are no substitutions for individual events. If the event is marked with a "Q", then the person who PLACED at regionals must be the one to participate at the state conference. However, in team events, members can be substituted. The system will not allow you to register non-qualifiers. MAXIMUM EVENTS - If the event has a "Max Number" of participants, you may ONLY exceed that number for the state conference if ALL participants placed at the regional conference. iServices validates qualifiers and will not allow non-qualifiers to exceed the max number. For example: - An individual event only permits two participants at the state conference. - Billy, Suzie and Jack all placed at regionals from your school. - Jack can't make states. - ONLY Billy and Suzie can register for the event. WORKING REGISTRATION - iServices is a working registration. You can start registration at any time. We strongly recommend that you start registration early. You can use the comment feature to write a comment about a team (like the participants on the team). Comments will show up on your print out but are not used by the conference administration. Use the "Printer Friendly Participant List" feature to print out a copy of your registration and hang it in your classroom. Let your students double check your work. Changes can be made to your registration any time until registration closes. BRING VERIFICATION - iServices gives you a chance to print conference participants and the events they are registered for at any time. We strongly recommendation that you print out your registration the day iServices closes. Keep this copy and bring it with you to conference check-in. SCHEDULES AVAILABLE - The conference program is now on-line at http://patsa.org/states/ This schedule is TENTATIVE! Also, from a variety of screens, you can click on the "Print Schedule" icon. It will display all events for that participant and the times for that participant. BILLING AVAILABLE - In 2009, the registration and hotel fees were separated! iServices can generate a conference fees bill for you. Click on "Print Bill" and you can give it to your accounts payable department. All information they need is on the bill. PLEASE BRING CHECKS MADE PAYABLE TO PA-TSA TO CONFERENCE CHECK IN. DO NOT MAIL CHECKS.
