Event Finalist Posting

A finalist posting does not necessarily equal a top ten finish. Certain events in the 2009-10 High School Competitive Events Guide and 2010-11 Middle School Competitive Events Guide call for MORE than ten (10) semifinalists to be posted and only ten (10) finalists to be announced at the Awards Ceremony.

Please consult the competitive event guidelines for each event’s number of semifinalists and number of finalists. Event judges will be following these numbers at States. The State Conference Planning Team appreciates you taking the time to make this clarification with your students and advisors prior to the State Conference. We look forward to seeing you soon.
