By Craig Jarret
Mar 9, 2010 - 11:30:13 AM

By special request, Fallingwater, a special home that is built over a waterfall, will be open for States bound TSA members to tour on April 14th.

“Frank Lloyd Wright, America’s most famous architect, designed the house for his clients, the Kaufmann family.  It instantly became famous and today it is a National Historic Landmark.”

Admission price is $6/student.  One free adult admission is included for every 13 students.  Additional adult tickets can be purchased at a cost of $13.50/adult.

The home is not too far from Seven Springs Resort, in a wooded setting on PA Route 381 between Mill Run and Ohiopyle.  To arrange your group tour, please call the visitor center at 724-329-8501 for reservations and group fees/rates.  Be sure to also visit the website http://www.fallingwater.org for more information including resources for educators.
