“Learning to Live in a Technical World”

Hello All!

The State Officer Team hopes that you had a fantastic time at the 2011 State Conference in Seven Springs. We were so impressed by the level of competition, good sportsmanship, and passion exhibited by all the members that attended. However, the journey isn’t over. The last stop is the big one: the 2011 National Conference in Dallas, Texas which is coming up in just a few short days. PA-TSA always has an extremely strong representation at Nationals and we expect this year to be no different. The PA State Officer Team will be hosting two Pennsylvania delegation meetings on Wednesday and Thursday at Nationals from 10pm to 11:30pm where we will be hanging out, discussing national candidates, and raffling off some great prizes! Lastly, here is a message from the National Secretary Pratyusha Gupta welcoming our delegation to Nationals:

The National TSA Conference is a great time for students from across the country to gather. Hi, my name is Pratyusha Gupta, the National TSA Secretary, and I still remember my first national conference as a scared little seventh grader. It was incredibly fun then and gets better every year! I hope that everyone is getting excited as the national conference fast approaches: only a few more days until it begins! I recognize that these final moments are extremely busy with finishing events and getting ready. I know that for me, I have a countdown in my head for this year’s conference. I hope that you are as excited as I am for Dallas! I guarantee that this is going to be one of the best national conferences yet. The national officer team is excited for the many changes that will be happening at this conference: we are improving the mixer and moving one of the general sessions to the evening. This year’s conference, like every other, is going to be fantastic and I hope that all of the members of Pennsylvania TSA are enthused to be there!
