I hope everyone is looking forward to a new year. So far, the state officers and I have planned an exciting state conference for 2008. As always, we will be having the Got-Game and Iron Man competitions. However, this year, instead of Dance Dance Revolutions (DDR), Guitar Hero will be a tournament for Got-Game. Madden will be another as usual. Additionally, we have planned to have two Iron Man competitions to allow for more members.

This year, the Friday night activity will be a dance and a carnival, similar to last year; although, the dance will be separate from the carnival to keep the events from clashing. The Wednesday night mixer will also be returning, so don’t forget to stop by there to sign up for Iron Man and Got-Game and enjoy some music and food. I am hoping that this state conference will be a memorable one for everyone, and I hope to be hearing from you throughout the year.
