WOW, That was an outstanding PA-TSA State Leadership Conference that was just held. It was the largest ever and one that went very smoothly. I commend the State Student Officers, TSA members, advisors, parents, chaperones, and the State Conference Committee for a job very well done. I believe that Pennsylvania has the best TSA members in the country. I don't judge this on trophies or awards but rather by the teamwork within chapters and chapters helping other chapters. I think TSA is unique in that students are competeing against one another and yet I constantly see and hear how competing students help each other out. AMAZING ! !. I also judge this by the decorum, manners, and overall professionalism displayed by our students while having fun at the same time. WELL DONE!

As registration for the National Conference is well on its way, I hope those that have qualified to go to Baltimore can get there. This is about as close as the National Conference is going to get to Pennsylvania and therefore about as least expensive as it is going to get. Let's send the largest delegation (and I think the best) to Baltimore and show the rest of the country how TSA should be done.

For the advisors.  The member-at-large position that is currently held by Dr. Laura Hummell will be open. Laura was voted in during a special election last year when Brandt Hutzel vacated that position to take the President-Elect position. If you know someone that is interested in joining the leadership of PA-TSA please nominate them by way of the PA-TSA website at this address http://patsa.org/advisors/bod_position.php?pageid=19&level=2. Nominations are open from May 1 to May 14, 2010. Elections will be held by voting on the website starting on June 1 and ending on June 14, 2010.
